Whisky Sweet Tea Batched Cocktail
INGREDIENTS
- 7 cups water divided
- 1 cup white sugar
- Six black tea bags
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
- Fresh ginger
- Fresh thyme
- Fresh peaches
- 6 oz STALK&BARREL Handcrafted Canadian Whisky
- 12 dashes of Angostura bitters
DIRECTION
- Boil 6 cups of water and brew tea bags for 10 minutes.
- For the thyme and peach-infused simple syrup, combine 1 cup of boiling water with sugar, thyme sprigs, ginger, peach slices, and lemon juice. Simmer until sugar is dissolved. Strain the syrup and discard the thyme, ginger, and peaches.
- Combine cooled tea, simple syrup, STALK&BARREL Handcrafted Canadian Whisky, and bitters into a pitcher over ice.
- Pour over ice and garnish with a peach slice and thyme.
